From 17 to 20 March 2025, the U.S. International Logistics and Supply Chain Exhibition (ProMat 2025) took place at Chicago’s McCormick Place Convention Center. As North America’s largest logistics‐equipment expo, ProMat 2025 drew over 850 exhibitors from around the world. Lead Intelligent Equipment (hereafter referred to as LEAD) made a striking debut with its end‐to‐end intelligent logistics solutions.
Flexible Dense Storage System for Manufacturing
Efficient use of warehouse space and precise inventory control are critical for manufacturers. To address the demands of high‐density storage, LEAD’s subsidiary, Lead Logistics, designed an integrated dense storage solution combining pallet warehouse, material bin warehouse and supermarket warehouse. Through a smart layout of receiving, consolidation, picking, storage, palletizing and shipping zones, the system rapidly adapts to diverse order requirements.
Key components include: multi‐layer shuttle vehicles, circular shuttle vehicles, pallet stackers, spiral lifters, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), conveyor‐sorting lines, depalletizing systems, and digital‐intelligent management platform.
A scientifically optimized layout delivers 230,000 storage locations, supports up to 400,000 SKUs, and achieves an annual throughput capacity of 6.5 million lines—sufficient to handle production of 20,000 standalone machines per year. This turnkey solution resolves the storage challenges of high SKU counts, heavy line-side flow and stringent kit completion rate requirements.
Intelligent Handling System for Manufacturing
Cantilever AGV is tailored for loading and unloading hollow‐type coil materials, using an extendable cantilever arm for fast, precise operations. It combines SLAM with QR‐code navigation and an omnidirectional chassis for 360° obstacle avoidance, and can handle multiple coils simultaneously—ideal for new‐energy and general‐manufacturing sites.
Double‐Fork Roll AGV is designed for in‑plant coil transport, moving coil material with high accuracy and speed, boosting logistics efficiency. With a 3‑ton load capacity, SLAM + QR navigation and the same omnidirectional chassis, it offers single‑ or dual‑workstation modes—the latter increasing throughput by up to 40%.
As a global leader in new‑energy intelligent manufacturing, LEAD and its subsidiary Lead Logistics boast strong R&D capabilities, extensive industry experience and worldwide delivery capacity. All products carry CE and NRTL certifications, and over 60 turnkey projects have been signed and delivered across North America and Europe, underscoring their proven track record.
As ever, LEAD remains committed to redefining industry boundaries through technological innovation. Its “full value chain + full lifecycle” approach—spanning materials innovation, process upgrades and cycle testing—extends across the entire battery‐manufacturing chain, empowering customers to achieve both intelligent manufacturing and green, low‑carbon operations.
ProMat 2025 offered LEAD a prime stage to showcase its technical prowess and innovation to a global audience. Looking ahead, LEAD will continue to place “flexible manufacturing” and “smart manufacturing” at the core of its strategy, exploring new technologies and applications in intelligent logistics to drive the transformation of the global manufacturing and logistics sectors.
